Midwifery Care Centered on You
Pregnancy and birth are profound life transitions—you deserve care that honors your body, your choices, and your family.
Together, we’ll create a safe, supported, and meaningful path into parenthood.
Personalized Care for Your Growing Family
Every family deserves more than just medical checkups—they deserve care that feels human, heartfelt, and whole. As a community-based midwife serving families within two hours of Warren, PA, I provide professional, personalized support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, right where you feel most at ease: home.
What’s Included:
Initial Consultation
We’ll begin with a one-hour consultation, either in person or via Zoom. This first meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other, answer your questions, and ensure my care feels like the right fit for your family.
Prenatal Care
Prenatal visits are typically one to two hours long, giving us time to discuss your progress, address any concerns, and build a strong foundation of trust. Appointments are scheduled monthly until 28 weeks, every two weeks until 36 weeks, and then weekly until your baby arrives. Around 35 weeks, I’ll visit your home with my assistant and your birth team so that everyone is familiar with your space and your wishes for birth. You’ll also have full access to my reading library, which includes carefully selected books on pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and newborn care. This collection is available for you to borrow throughout your pregnancy so you can feel informed, inspired, and supported between visits. I also remain available to you 24/7 throughout pregnancy for urgent needs, and visits can be completed in your home or my office.
Birth Care
When labor begins, I will come to your home—anywhere within two hours of Warren, PA—accompanied by a trained assistant. I bring everything needed for a safe home birth, including supplies, instruments, and a complete birth pool kit if you choose water birth. My role is to support you in the way you need most, whether hands-on or quietly present. I remain with you from active labor until two to four hours after your baby is born, completing a thorough newborn exam and immediate postpartum care.
Postpartum Care
The postpartum period is a tender and vital time for recovery, bonding, and adjusting to your new rhythm. I’ll check in by phone on the first day, followed by home visits at two days, four days, one week, and two weeks after birth. Additional visits are offered at four, six, eight, and twelve weeks, either in your home, my office, or via Zoom. During this time, I provide lactation support, monitor both you and your baby’s well-being, and remain available between visits for any questions or concerns.
