So Your Milk Hasn’t “Come In” Yet — Now What? Part 7

Part 7: Professional Support Can Make a Difference

Breastfeeding challenges are common, and early, skilled support can change outcomes.

A CLC (Certified Lactation Consultant) can assess:

  • Latch and positioning

  • Milk transfer

  • Individual factors affecting feeding

Reaching out early isn’t a sign that something has gone wrong — it’s a way to prevent small challenges from becoming bigger ones.

This mini-blog series is for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose or treat feeding concerns. Feeding challenges require individualized assessment.

If you have concerns about milk supply, infant intake, or breastfeeding comfort, please contact me to schedule a lactation consultation so we can provide appropriate, personalized support.
